Taki went through the ups and downs of being a foreigner in a different country. Learning a new language while building a new path for herself was tough. However, as she continued the path of self improvement, she discovered helping others was connected to this path in a deeper way than she knew.
Fitness was never a part of Taki’s life growing up. In 2019, she fell in love with boxing and fitness and was training 6 to 7 days a week. Taki became motivated to make smarter choices focused on her health and fitness which led her to feeling stronger both physically and mentally. The gym became her happy place!
With a lot of help and support from her mentors, she changed her career path completely. She spent all of 2021 focused on studying to become a trainer and earned her certifications as a Personal Trainer at the National Academy of Sports Medicine, CrossFit L1 certification, and Flexologist at StretchLab. Education never stops, in fact this is just the beginning for her! Taki receives so much inspiration, motivation and empowerment from fitness and the community within it. She is inspired to give the same to others, and her goal is to create a space where anyone can experience their own senses of identity and relationships to others.
